Contract Research (CRO)
Contract Research (CRO) from Basic Studies to Human Clinical Study
Since we had been supporting the development of various new materials that had not yet been commercialized even before our establishment in 1995, we had been able to build various networks to evaluate various new materials.
For example, in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and functional foods, we had conducted various tests cooperated with highly reputed hospitals, universities, research institutes, and national academies in each country.
In feed industries, we carried out various field tests for pig, poultry, shrimp, fish, eel, etc. cooerated with leading customers and public research institutes.
In fine chemicals industries, we had assisted in various tests as part of the development and demand creation of new materials in each coutry, such as for safety, effectiveness, and application developments and preparation for required data for REACH, cooperated with various research institutes and customers' factories of leading customers.
In 2004, utilizing these experiences, we started a contract research
business (CRO) in each field as a new business.
We support a wide range of services, from gene screening, in vitro
study, animal tests, alternative tests to animal tests, and in vivo study,
and various tests for research, development and marketing supports of new
materials.

Alternative Tests - Alternatives for cosmetic animal testing inhibited in Europe
In Europe, the "7th Amendment to the Cosmetics Directive" banned animal experiments in cosmetics developments from March 11, 2009, and efforts toward alternative laws are in full swing in Japan as well.
Since 2004, we have been proactively proposing alternative skin model tests in which human cells are cultured. We propose a wide range of alternative test series that are becoming a global trend, not just materials exported to Europe.
